A mother from Uttar Street in Makoi is pleading with the public to help locate her 18 year old daughter who has been missing from Maui Bay since 12pm Wednesday.

Taina Rokobuli has told Legend FM News that they went for a picnic, and what she can recall is asking her daughter to look after their things while she takes her turn to play volleyball.

Rokobuli says all attempts to locate her daughter Peniana since then have been futile.

She has also reported the matter to Korolevu Police Station and is waiting for their response.

The public is urged to contact Rokobuli on 2850237 or 7236552 if they have any information that can assist in locating her daughter.

We have also sent questions to the police regarding the incident and are awaiting their response.
