Former Sigatoka Methodist College student Timoci Kotoisuva has signed with the Kaiviti Silktails Rugby League Football Club for their 2023 season.

Silktails Head Coach Wes Naiqama spoke of how Kotoisuva will be their youngest 2023 squad member, and his signing is a reflection of the Silktails strong relationship with Fijian Secondary Schools.

He says Kotoisuva has a bright future ahead of him.

Naiqama says he is an extremely gifted player who hails from Sigatoka, the same school as Silktail player Iobe Taukeisalili and this shows the strength of the relationships they have with Secondary Schools across Viti Levu.

He further says Kotoisuva adds depth to a strong backline, and they are excited to have him feature during this season.

Sigatoka Methodist College Principal Tima Katonivualiku also spoke of Timoci’s achievement and how deserving he is of his selection.

He says the Sigatoka Methodist College family is indeed blessed with the recent selection of Kotoisuva as part of the Kaiviti Silktails.

Katonivualiku says the 18-year-old student’s achievement is truly rewarding of his tireless dedication and commitment to his training and passion for rugby league.
