Interim Charge d’ Affaires for the US Embassy Rebecca Owen.

170 women will be taking part in the Women Entrepreneurs Program for 2022 that has been funded by the US State Department with more than $46,000.

This is the third year of the program and for the first time women from Vanua Levu will also be part of the program which aims to provide participants with opportunities to learn skills that they can directly and immediately apply to creating or enhancing their business.

The Interim Charge d’ Affaires for the US Embassy Rebecca Owen says the facilitators will provide online and in-person instruction to women entrepreneurs and early stage business owners.

Owen says this will help participants to build their businesses and seek innovative scaling opportunities.

The participants will be working in groups of 20-25 women each and will be mentored and encouraged to share, learn and network with the alumni and members of their group.
