15-year-old Taito Judah Seninawanawa and his mother, Laisa Luvuhila

15-year-old Taito Judah Seninawanawa says he is overwhelmed and grateful after receiving the gift of life for the second time— thanks to the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital in Suva.

He had undergone surgery in 2015 for heart issues as well.

Taito is one of seven children from across the Pacific who recently underwent successful heart surgeries at the hospital.

His mother, Laisa Luvuhila, a mother of seven says she initially blamed herself when her son was first diagnosed with a heart condition.

She first noticed a purplish tint under his fingernails and took him for medical examination and she was advised to seek help from the Sai Prema Foundation, which stepped in to assist.

Luvuhila expressed gratitude, calling the hospital a beacon of hope for families.

The Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital has successfully conducted life-saving heart surgeries on 394 children.
