15 selected schools to participate in the Education and Culture Symposium for Ratu Sukuna Day celebration today

15 selected schools from the central division will be part of the Education and Culture Symposium which will be held at the Holiday Inn in Suva as part of the Ratu Sukuna Day celebration, today.

These include Nasinu Secondary School, Ratu Sukuna Memorial School, Suva Grammar School, Suva Muslim College, Queen Victoria School, DAV Girls College, Yat Sen School, Gospel High School, Lelean Memorial School, Marist Brothers High School, Adi Cakobau School, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School, Marist Brothers High School, Ballantine Memorial School, Suva Adventist High School and Ratu Kadavulevu School.

The representatives from the organising committee for the Ratu Sukuna Day celebration Alipate Natoba says these 15 school participating will be the Year 13 students who will be part of the panel discussion as well.

He says that Panel 1, will be based on Indigenous Identity, Panel 2 about Culture and Education and Panel 3 on War Valor.

Natoba says the academics that will be providing feedback after the panels will be, Doctor Apolonia Tamata, Doctor Apisalome Movono and Doctor Sevanaia Sakai.

Ratu Sukuna Day celebrations will be held from tomorrow to Friday.

The Ratu Sukuna Day public holiday is on Friday.
