14 players join Digicel National soccer team camp in Ba

Players like Setareki Hughes, Dave Radrigai, Inoke Turagalailai, Patrick Joseph, Thomas Dunn, Muni Shivam Naidu and Isikeli Sevanaia have joined the Digicel National soccer team camp at Fiji FA’s Academy in Ba.

National Team Manager, Anushil Kumar says there are currently 14 players in camp and are going through non-contact training for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

He says they are also awaiting release of working players.

Kumar says contact training is expected to start once Fiji achieves 80 percent vaccination rate.

This camp will last till the 20th of this month.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers will be held early next year in Qatar.
