113 families in Cuvu, Nadroga now have the security of residential land after they were handed 99-year lease offer letters under the Ministry of Housing’s Lot Allocation Policy.

The offer letters were handed over by the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Filimoni Vosarogo and Minister for Housing and Local Government Maciu Nalumisa.

While congratulating the recipients, Vosarogo reminded them of the importance of their success and the government’s unwavering commitment to transforming lives through secure land tenure.

He says this land is theirs; it is their foundation, their legacy, and their future.

Vosarogo is urging them to use it wisely, build permanent homes, start businesses, educate their children and create opportunities not only for themselves but for their neighbours and the next generation.

Meanwhile, Nalumisa also acknowledged the support of traditional landowners in the area, including the Turaga na Ka Levu, for their continued generosity and assistance in making the land allocation possible.
