111 drivers booked for over-speeding on Christmas Day

Speeding continues to be a major challenge for the Fiji Police Force after 111 drivers were booked on Christmas Day for over-speeding.

Police are calling on drivers to watch their speed.

Meanwhile, 23 drivers were arrested yesterday for drunk driving, and 19 of these drivers were arrested around the Suva corridor with 4 in Nadi.

They say they will continue to increase their presence on the roads to ensure that it is safe for everyone enjoying Boxing Day.
