Minister for lands and Mineral Resources, Filimoni Vosarogo says 10 new industrial lots in Vakamasisuasua, Labasa will be leased out and is part of the extensions of the lease that the state has developed years ago.

He says this shows the confidence that people have in the Northern economy growing on its own and the State has seen it fit to extend the industrial leases and provide for it.

Vosarogo says the Government has also expanded money so that those 10 lots are able to be out there on the market.

He adds they hope they can do that within this financial year and those that have shown interest would be able to take up the leases and with the government cashing in, cover costs and continue to get leases.
