Victorious Fiji Men’s 7s coach Ben Gollings has praised the defensive effort of the team at the World Cup.

Fiji outclassed New Zealand 29-12 to win our third Melrose Cup title.

While speaking after the final, Gollings says the team set a goal and they have finished the job.

Gollings says this win is huge for Fiji.

Dual Olympic Gold Medallist and now World Cup winner Jerry Tuwai says he is proud of the players after winning the 7s World Cup.

While speaking after the final, the greatest 7s player in the world says they have so much respect for New Zealand despite having a 19 point lead at half time.

Tuwai also thanked the fans for their continuous support.

Tuwai is now the only 7s player in the world who has two Olympic Gold medals, a 7s World Cup title and multiple 7s series titles.
