A few days away from Christmas, Navua Peace Chapel Pastor Chris Krishna is urging everyone to also spend time with their elders and reach out to the needy and vulnerable people and provide them with any support and care possible.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Pastor Krishna says Christmas is all about forgiving each other and showing love, support and care which brings hope into people's lives.

He says often the older people in our homes and society are neglected and not included in the activities carried out by others, however, this is the time we must get together and bring happiness and joy to each other's lives.

Krishna says as we provide gifts to children we must also show our appreciation and love to everyone around us.

He further says this year their congregation will be expressing love in action by providing groceries, cakes, juice and food to the needy and vulnerable people and reaching out to families and individuals in need.
