Take the same energy and confidence from the last tournament into the Hong Kong 7s and trust in your abilities.

Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s Coach, Richard Walker highlighted this as he encourages players during their preparations for the Hong Kong 7s, which kicks off today.

Walker says he wants to see his players to showcase their skills and play with confidence during the tournament.

He says it is important for them to follow this approach, so that they can perform their best and deliver positive results.

Ilisapeci Delaiwau will captain the side for the first time.

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s will take on Ireland at 4.25 this afternoon in their first pool match, they will then take on France at 7.35 tonight before playing Great Britain at 3.25pm tomorrow in their last pool match.

The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side will face the USA at 4.48 this afternoon, they will face Ireland at 7.58pm and will meet Argentina at 4.11pm tomorrow.

The cup quarter finals will kick off at 9.51pm tomorrow, the cup semi finals will start at 7pm Sunday and the cup final will kick off at 11.46pm Sunday.

The women’s cup quarter finals will kick off at 9.01pm tomorrow, the semi finals will start at 6.14pm Sunday and the cup final will kick off at 11.10pm Sunday.

The Hong Kong 7s will be held at the Kai Tak Stadium for the first time.
