United States President Donald Trump has laid out a pair of steps intended to pressure Russia to end its war in Ukraine, including funneling new weapons to Kyiv and threatening economic punishment on Moscow if peace is not reached in 50 days, as he grows increasingly disenchanted with his Russian counterpart.
Trump says he felt they had a deal about four times while he was referring to a prospective peace agreement with Russia.
He says but it just kept going on and on.
He adds they are going to be doing very severe tariffs if no deal is reached in 50 days.
Trump says tariffs at about 100 percent would be called secondary tariffs.
He says he uses trade for a lot of things, but it is great for settling wars.
