With the growing concerns about the involvement of children in drugs and other activities that are harmful to their lives, the Fiji Police Force has taken the initiative to talk to children about the effects of drugs.

Police say the fight against drugs with children is their top priority and they are teaching them the importance of self-control that will ultimately empower them to make informed decisions on their own.

They say it is imperative that they never tire of teaching and guiding children as they navigate a world filled with positive and negative influences.

They add they will continue the momentum of empowerment and the officers are committed to doing this through community policing efforts or any opportunity provided to address young children, as they care about their young lives and future.
