Peniasi Dakuwaqa shows class again in Stade Francais’ 12-10 win over Montpellier

Stade Francais and Fijian winger Peniasi Dakuwaqa played another crucial role for his side helping them secure a close 12-10 win over Montpellier in their Top 14 clash this morning.

The 26-year-old started on the wing and ran a total of 126 metres in 5 carries.

Dakuwaqa also made 2 line breaks and beat 3 defenders.

In defence, Dakuwaqa made 7 tackles and completed 3 and won 2 turnovers.

Meanwhile, former Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s and Olympic gold medallist Masivesi Dakuwaqa started on the left wing for Montpellier and also was involved in most plays of the game.

Masivesi had 10 carries and ran a total of 59 metres, beating 3 defenders and making 10 tackles.

In other Top 14 matches played today, Racing 92 beat Clermont 26-10, Perpignan thrashed Castres 43-12, La Rochelle defeated Oyonnax 40-21, Lyon beat Bordeaux 27-10 and Toulouse overcame Pau 31-29.
