Online registration extended to June for Driving License Holders

Online registration extended to June for Driving License Holders

By Dhanjay Deo
17/05/2020

The Land Transport Authority has extended the end date for the compulsory online registration of driving license holders to 29th June 2020.

LTA says the online services will provide ease of access and convenience to Fijians by removing the need for long waiting times and queues, and allow for better accountability as transactions will be logged in databases and easily retrievable.

LTA’s CEO, Samuel Simpson says taking into account the current COVID-19 pandemic faced by all Fijians, they have made a decision to extend the deadline.

He says registration can now be done through multiple ways, including online on their website, on Facebook, by calling and by visiting one of their branches.
