The Nasinu Secondary School under 18 rugby side will be looking to break their drought in the Vodafone Super Deans Competition and go all the way to winning the title this year.

The school’s Vice Principal Navitalai Waiwalu says they have been in 4 Deans finals and they have lost all those finals with a single point.

Waiwalu says they are looking to make history this year and they are confident of doing so.

Nasinu survived a scare from Tailevu North College in last week’s quarter final where they won 17-13 and will be up against an unpredictable Cuvu College side who overcame Ratu Kadavulevu School 23-22 last week.

Nasinu will take on Cuvu at 3:25pm in the first semi final, and defending champion QVS will meet Ratu Navula College at 5:00pm in the second semi final.

In the U14 semi finals, Marist will face RKS at 8:00am, and MGM will play Lelean Memorial School at 9:30am.

In the under 15, Gospel High School will meet Marist at 9.05am in the first semi final, and Suva Grammar School will face QVS at 9.30am in the second semi final.

In the U16 semi finals, QVS will meet Suva Grammar at 10:15am, and Lelean will play RKS at 10:40am.

In the U17 semi finals, RKS will play Ratu Navula College at 11:45am, and Marist will take on QVS at 10:30am.

In the U19 semi finals, QVS will play Naitasiri Secondary at 12:00pm, and Lami High School will take on Ratu Navula at 11:50am.

All games will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium, Buckhurst Ground 1, and Bidesi Ground.
