Fiji’s Light Heavyweight champion Savenaca "Lightening", Naliva says he is confident of a knockout win against Apisai Naciqa tomorrow.

Naliva says he aims to win the fight in the 5th or 6th round.

Naliva adds he is fighting tomorrow for his family and the people of Ba.

The 34-year-old says Apisai Naciqa is a great boxer and he is not underestimating him because he knows defending a title is much harder than challenging for it.

Naliva has fought 16 times and won 13 fights with 10 knockouts.

He has recorded 2 losses and 1 draw in his professional career.

He became the light heavyweight champion of Fiji after beating Joseph Kwadjo in October last year. He is also the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific champion and the Pro Box Pacific champion after knocking out Papua New Guinea fighter John Korake in the second round in March this year.

The South Pacific Boxing Promotion Biggest Fights of 2020 event will be held at Lawaqa Park tomorrow and the program will start at 3pm.
