The Motibhai Group has joined hands with a non-governmental organisation – Nasinu Junior Chamber, to create a month-long awareness and community campaign to observe World Oral Health Day.

Motibhai Group Marketing and Business Development Manager Abraham Gomes says everyone deserves access to quality oral health care and the knowledge needed to maintain a healthy mouth.

He says that is why, this March, they are asking everyone to unite to raise awareness about the importance of good oral health.

Gomes says being the official distributor of Pepsodent – a leading toothpaste brand across the globe, they truly understand that a healthy mouth and a healthy body go hand in hand.

He adds maintaining a healthy mouth is crucial to keeping it functioning correctly and for maintaining overall health and quality of life.

Gomes says the mouth is a mirror to a person's body, and it reflects their general health and well-being, and in order to achieve an accepted level of oral health, the toothpaste we use plays a vital role in the entire process.

He says pepsodent provides 12 hours of protection to prevent cavities and helps repair invisible holes for long-term fortification of teeth with active micro calcium and pro-fluoride complex.

He adds they will be visiting four villages along with a dental bus with dentists and supporting staff from the Fiji National University School of Dentistry for free dental check-ups and there will be other fun activities included to make the road show attractive.

He further adds that around 4,000 packs of Pepsodent toothpaste, and toothbrushes will be distributed to all four villages together with printed awareness materials.
