Labasa has taken the lead on the Digicel Fiji Premier League points table after defeating Suva 1-0 at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Christopher Wasasala scored the lone goal in the 15th minute.

Coach Ravneel Pratap says it was a good game for the team and the 3 points gave them a boost on the points table.

He says Solomon Island imports Junior Fordney and Tigi Molea are adding strength to the team.

Pratap says Suva could not have been underestimated and kept them on their toes until the last minute.

He says they need to work on maintaining the pace of the game now.

In matches tomorrow at 3pm, Rewa takes on Tailevu/Naitasiri, Nadi takes on Navua, Nasinu faces Ba while Lautoka will take on Nadroga.
