Kerevi named in Australian squad for the Olympics

Former Wallabies vice-captain Samu Kerevi has been included in the 12-member Australia 7s squad for the Tokyo Olympics.

Kerevi joined the 7s set up in May this year and was part of the Australian team in the Oceania 7s last week.

Other players such as Maurice Longbottom, Henry Hutchison, Nicholas Malouf and Joshua Turner are also part of the squad.

Australia is in Pool A with New Zealand, Argentina and South Korea.

The Olympic Rugby 7s competition will be held from the 26th to the 31st of July.
