Former Fiji 7s rep dies in France

Former Fiji 7s rep Akuila Nawerecagi has passed away in France after he was involved in a road accident.

The former winger played for Pau in Pro D2 from 2009 to 2012.

He had started in South Africa at the Sharks before moving to France where he ended his career in 2014.

The late Nawerecagi played alongside Emosi Vucago, Neumi Nanuku, Tomasi Mawi, Etonia Naba, Vereniki Goneva and Setefano Cakau.
