Weightlifting Fiji President Della Shaw will be officiating at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as a technical official.
Shaw says she received her appointment in September last year, and this was her second appointment.
She says her first appointment was in Tokyo, but it was unfortunate that her family had COVID-19, and she had to let that appointment go to take care of her family.
The Weightlifting Fiji President adds that she hopes that nothing will go wrong this year so she can officiate at her first Olympic Games.
Shaw acknowledges the International Weightlifting Federation for believing in her capabilities and appointing her as one of the officials in Paris.
She says there are only two from the Oceania region that will be part of the officials.
