Competition is quite tough, with the new boys in the extended squad fighting for their position to make the team.

Fiji Airways Fiji National 7s Coach Osea Kolinisau highlighted this to the media after their training session at Bidesi Park.

Kolinisau has high praises for Rupeni Kabu saying he is a grafter, grinder and who has played with the 7s side in Hong Kong.

He says newcomer Jope Tikomailepanoni who he describes as being quite stocky and built like Tuisova gives them that same type of power.

The Fiji 7s extended squad are preparing for the McDonald’s Coral Coast 7s which kicks off next Thursday at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.

Kolinisau adds the squad for the Perth 7s will leave for Australia on the 20th of this month.
