Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration Pio Tikoduadua

Border security is really one thing the Government will need to top up as the threat to border security is evolving.

Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration Pio Tikoduadua highlighted this when questioned by fijivillage News on the border security of the country.

While speaking about the biggest drug bust in Fiji over the weekend, Tikoduadua says he knows it is a challenge to stay ahead of this kind of threat.

Tikoduadua says he had a meeting with the Immigration Department in terms of looking at people, the laws and our borders.

He says at the moment, our law enforcement agencies, including the Police, Customs and Navy and everyone looking after Fiji will need to have a good rethink about this.
