We don’t want to see our youth end up in prison.
That is the message from Tunitoga Jack Aisea Komaitai, who is leading the charge in the battle against drugs on Bau Island.
Komaitai says drugs are a growing problem, and they are conducting more awareness sessions while providing advice on the harmful impacts of substance abuse.
He says if anyone is caught with marijuana or methamphetamine, they will ensure the matter is reported to Police through the proper channels.
Komaitai adds that the last thing they want is for youths to end up in prison and trapped in the drug system.
