Labasa soccer midfielder, Ashnil Raju has promised their fans the Babasiga Lions will definitely spark the ANZ Stadium with one-touch play that the side is known for.

Speaking very confidently, Raju says the defending champions have been training aggressively for Courts IDC and can’t wait to take the field.

The Labasa Sangam College teacher says they will face stiff competition against Ba, Nadi and Navua in their group matches but are determined to reach the elimination rounds.

He says finishing is one area they are working on improving in training.

Raju adds the match against Ba will be the one to watch and should live up to expectation.

The Courts IDC kicks off tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium and Labasa will face Navua at 2.30pm.

You can catch the live commentaries of the Suva-Nasinu match at 12.30pm, Ba-Nadi game at 4.30pm and Rewa-Lautoka match at 7pm on our sister station , Radio Sargam.
