People’s Democratic Party Leader Felix Anthony on Straight Talk

The People’s Democratic Party Leader Felix Anthony believes that his party cannot work with the FijiFirst Party due to differences in policies.

Speaking on Straight Talk on Viti FM and Radio Sargam last night, Anthony said that their policies need to be compatible.

When asked about the current electoral system where a party may not form a government on its own and may have to form a coalition, Anthony said that his party can work with any party apart from FijiFirst.

He stressed that the party will not form a coalition with another party just to be in government or to take up ministerial posts.

Anthony said they will need to negotiate policies in their manifesto with other parties before deciding on a coalition.

Join us on our special general elections talkback “Straight Talk” tonight from 7pm on our sister stations Viti FM and Radio Sargam.

Our guest on the show will be Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem.

We will also have live video streaming on fijivillage.com.
