The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will meet Australia in the semifinals of the Hong Kong 7s after defeating Canada 29-12 in the quarter finals.
Fiji showed a different class of play as they outclassed Canada with five tries to two.
Vatemo Ravouvou was on song scoring Fiji’s first try from the restart before Kalione Nasoko scored their second try right before the stroke of half time.
Canada’s tries was scored in the first half as the scores were levelled at 12-all.
Fiji regrouped in the second half to keep possession as coach Gareth Baber emphasized at half time.
Ravouvou again scored Fiji’s third try from an offload by Isake Katonibau.
The forwards then produced a special treat for the fans with try to Kalione Nasoko and a brilliant team try that led Sevuloni Mocenacagi to score their last try.

Captain Osea Kolinisau says they have learned so much from yesterday.
Coach Gareth Baber says they reacted well after their tough pool games.
Fiji will face Australia at 7.31 tonight in the first semi final.
Barring any upset, they are expected to meet either South Africa or USA in the final.
The final will be played at 11pm.
In the quarter final results, Australia beat Argentina 21-12, USA beat England 27-7 and South Africa edged New Zealand 21-19.
