The trial for Tanya Waqanika's FICAC case, in which she is charged with one count of publicly indicating opposition to a political party, has been scheduled from September 28th to October 2nd.
Waqanika's case was called before Suva Magistrate Yogesh Prasad this morning.
The matter has been adjourned to September 9th for a pre-trial conference.
It is alleged that on or about April 19th, 2024, while serving as a public officer, namely a board member of Investment Fiji and Telecom Fiji Limited, Waqanika publicly indicated opposition to the political party SODELPA.
