Upgraded park gives Ba children a safer place to play

Children in Ba now have a new, safe and modern space to play and grow following the official opening of the upgraded Ba Motorparts Children’s Park in Namosau, Ba.

Minister for Housing and Local Government Maciu Nalumisa officially opened the facility today, describing it as a vibrant community space where children can play, build friendships and develop in a safe environment.

Nalumisa says the park reflects what can be achieved when the Government, local councils and the private sector work together for the well-being of communities.

He says the park belongs to the children and families of Namosau and the wider Ba community, and is urging residents to cherish, protect and make full use of the facility for generations to come.

The Minister acknowledged Ba Motorparts for its partnership and commitment to corporate social responsibility, as well as the Ba Town Council for delivering the project.
