Fijian hospitality leader Vuli Cakacaka has been appointed General Manager of Nanuku Resort Fiji.
Cakacaka, who was born on Vatoa in the Lau Group and raised in Suva, has more than 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, working across Fiji and international markets.
He brings extensive experience and leadership expertise to the position.
He joined Nanuku Resort Fiji as Resort Manager in 2024 and will now oversee all aspects of resort operations, guest experience and financial performance as General Manager.
Cakacaka says the true strength of a resort lies in the people who deliver the experience.
He says he is honoured to lead the team and build on the strong foundation already established at Nanuku while continuing to provide personalised luxury.
He says the resort will continue creating meaningful experiences for guests while celebrating Fiji's culture, people and natural beauty.
Cakacaka is also committed to developing Fijian hospitality professionals and creating opportunities for local talent.
Storey Hospitality Co-founder and Managing Partner Michael Casey says Cakacaka's extensive experience, understanding of Fijian hospitality and people-first leadership make him the right person to lead the resort.
Casey says they look forward to the continued growth and success of Nanuku under Cakacaka's leadership.
Located on Fiji's southern coast in Pacific Harbour, Nanuku Resort Fiji is celebrated for its luxury experiences, authentic cultural connections and exceptional service.
The resort remains dedicated to delivering unforgettable stays while championing sustainability, community engagement and world-class hospitality.
