TotalEnergies Fiji Managing Director Bhavna Samel says the Nabua outlet is the company's first service station in Fiji to be both owned and directly operated by TotalEnergies.
Samel says the relaunch is an emotional milestone for the company as the Nabua outlet becomes its first directly operated service station in the country.
She says the station has undergone a complete redevelopment, including new pipes, tanks, pumps, shop facilities and other infrastructure.
Sam says TotalEnergies wants the Nabua outlet to become a model service station in terms of customer service, technology and facilities.
The redeveloped station also includes a car wash, lube bay and food and coffee services, giving motorists access to a range of services at one location.
Sam says this is the sixth TotalEnergies service station to undergo major renovation in Fiji as the company continues to invest in its local network.
She says the company is working towards providing similar standards across its service stations.
French Embassy Chargé d'Affaires Benjamin Delannoy says continued investment by French companies such as TotalEnergies creates jobs, supports local businesses and suppliers, and provides opportunities for skills development.
Delannoy says TotalEnergies has 35 service stations in Fiji and five in Tonga, serving thousands of customers each day.
He says the relaunch of the Nabua station reflects the company's continued confidence in Fiji and strengthens economic ties between Fiji and France.
