Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa is celebrating a significant milestone this month, marking 20 years of hospitality in Fiji and two decades of welcoming guests from around the world to Fiji’s shores.

Since opening its doors in 2006, Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa has become an established part of Fiji’s tourism landscape, evolving alongside the destination while remaining committed to its people, guests and the spirit of Fijian hospitality.

The 20th anniversary celebrations, which began on 1st September, will continue throughout the month with a special anniversary logo, print, digital and social media activations, and a selection of anniversary food and beverage offerings across the resort.

The celebrations will reach a special highlight next Monday, when Hilton Executive Vice President and President for Asia Pacific Alan Watts visits Fiji.

Watts oversees more than 2,300 hotels in operation or under development across 14 brands in the Asia Pacific region.

His visit will include Hilton properties in Nadi and Suva, including Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa, DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji – Sonaisali Island and the upcoming DoubleTree by Hilton Suva.

The visit will provide an opportunity for Watts to meet team members and connect with owners, partners and key stakeholders as Hilton continues to expand its presence in Fiji.

As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations at Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa, a special sustainability initiative will also recognise the resort’s history and its commitment to the future.

Twenty trees will be planted to represent the next 20 years, while a commemorative plaque and time capsule will mark the occasion for future generations of team members and guests.

The anniversary week will conclude with an evening celebration bringing together government dignitaries, Hilton owners, tourism partners, team members and special guests.

The event will feature Fijian-inspired cuisine, live entertainment and a special guest performance while recognising those who have played an important role in Hilton Fiji’s 20-year journey.

Team members who have reached 20 years of service with Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa will be recognised for their dedication, loyalty and contribution to the resort over the past two decades.

Cluster General Manager, Fiji Islands, Carey Osborne says reaching 20 years is a remarkable milestone for Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and one that belongs to their people.

Osborne says their journey has been shaped by the incredible team members who have welcomed guests, created memorable experiences and shared the warmth of Fijian hospitality every day.

She says they are proud to celebrate how far they have come while looking ahead to the next 20 years.

The celebrations will also provide an opportunity to acknowledge Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa’s journey while looking towards the future of Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Fiji.
