Hansons opens first own TotalEnergies service station in Nadera
Great news for Fijians as Hansons Pte Limited has opened its first dealer-owned and dealer-operated TotalEnergies service station in Nadera, strengthening its long-standing partnership with the international energy company.

The new outlet is the 35th branded TotalEnergies service station in Fiji.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of Hansons Pte Limited Suresh Kant says the opening marks a proud moment for his family and fulfils the wish of his late father, Hardeep Narayan.

Kant says the family has partnered with TotalEnergies for many years, operating stations in Nausori, Makoi and Nabua before opening its own outlet in Nadera.

He says the service station was opened in response to demand from people in the area, with a supermarket also expected to open soon.

TotalEnergies Managing Director Bhavana Samel says the new station is aimed at bringing fuel and convenience services closer to communities, reducing the need for people to travel long distances.

Samel says the company is continuing to expand its network across Fiji while bringing international standards and technology to the local market.

She says TotalEnergies is present in about 90 countries, with Fiji being part of its international network.

Samel says the company has more stations planned, signalling further expansion of its operations in Fiji.

TotalEnergies Vice President for the Middle East and Asia Mehmet Celepoglu says the company is committed to Fiji and will continue investing in the country.

Celepoglu says the company is not only opening new stations, but is also renovating existing service stations and expanding its logistics capacity.

He says Fiji holds a strategic position in the company’s Pacific Islands strategy and adds that more services will be introduced.

He says the new station has been established with the branding and support of TotalEnergies.
Kant also highlighted the family’s contribution to communities through support for religious organisations, sports and disaster response.

The Nadera station is expected to provide fuel and convenience services to the surrounding community while adding to TotalEnergies’ growing network in Fiji.
