The Frank Hilton Organisation's Bara Battle will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, where they hope to raise at least $300,000.
Frank Hilton Organisation CEO, Sureni Perera highlighted this to fijivillage News saying that the funds raised will go towards their Hilton residential care facility but all other operations under their portfolio as well.

Perera says while the Bara Battle launch takes place today, 15 teams have already confirmed their participation, and most of these teams have been valuable stakeholders supporting their cause for nearly 10 years now.
The CEO says they initially started the Bara Battle to supplement the deficit in funding for their residential care facility which is the Hilton Home that supports approximately 15 children with severe disabilities and who are often at risk of abuse or neglect in communities.

She says later the Bara Battle grew to supplement the deficit of funds that they require each year for outreach programmes, in-house programmes and the various activities that they do.

Perera says they are always open for donations, people can support a Bara Battle team or they can pledge or donate towards the wheelbarrow race as an individual, as a corporate.
She says there are various ways people can donate, through MPAiSA, a donation portal on their website and they are always open to cheques and cash at their head office in Brown Street as well.
The Bara Battle will be held on July 25th at Albert Park, Suva.
