Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu is calling on the members of the public to come forward with concrete evidence in relation to the murder of 24 year old Constable Peniasi Racagi in Lami.
Tudravu says if they do not have corroborating evidence on what is being given by someone, they send the file to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
He says for now, they only have sufficient evidence against the two that have been charged.
For the rest, they are still pursuing credible evidence to take the file back to the DPP's Office for charges to be laid.
More than 100 statements have been taken in relation to the murder of Constable Racagi.
Racagi's body was found in the sea near the Lami Oceania Wesley Church on Sunday February 22nd.
He was allegedly assaulted by some men as he was on foot patrol.
Information had earlier come in that the constable had asked the men to disperse as they were drinking alcohol in a public place on that Saturday night.
The case has been adjourned to the 8th of May for plea.
