As Tropical Cyclone Rae moves further South of Fiji waters and Category 2 Tropical Cyclone Seru tracks southeastward from the far west, a Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the country.
The Nadi Weather Office says that an active trough of low pressure continues to affect Fiji, bringing rain while strong winds associated with the system is still impacting Yasawa, Lau, Lomaiviti, Kadavu and the nearby islands.
They say heavy rain may lead to flash flood in low-lying and flood prone areas and flooding in major rivers around Fiji.
They further say the rest of Fiji can expect occasional periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms with conditions gradually clearing from tomorrow.
The Weather Office is urging members of the public to remain cautious, especially in flood-prone areas.
