Rampur College Year 12 student, Caleb Nacewa.

Students are creative and innovative when it comes to designing and there is a need for them to be exposed to spaces where they can be able to portray their skills and knowledge of becoming a fashion designer.

Student designer and model for the Fiji Fashion Week 2024, Rampur College Year 12 student, Caleb Nacewa says he has always been interested in the designing field and coming up with ideas of how to put his knowledge of designing together is something interesting for him to venture into.

Nacewa says when the school informed them that they would be participating again this year for the Fashion Week, he thought of why couldn’t he give it a try to showcase his talents.

He says the name for his collection is Wasawasa ni Kalokalo, meaning the Ocean of Stars.

Meanwhile, Rampur College won first place for being the best school designer last year.

The designer relation for Fiji Fashion Week, Dan Paris Matanimeke says 27 schools from the Central and Western Division took part in the show today.

The theme for this year is Natural Beauty.
