A detailed look at the Nike Kobe 4 Protro

There is no way basketball fans have missed the advertisement for the next Kobe Bryant sneaker release. Last Thursday, Nike launched a new "That's Mamba" marketing campaign, which has included billboards, social media posts, and commercials that aired during the NBA's Christmas Day games.

While the promotions are for more than just one sneaker release, fans' first shot at getting more Nike Kobe sneakers comes shortly after the holiday season ends. Below is everything online shoppers must know about the Nike Kobe 4 Protro "Black Mamba" sneaker release.

The Nike Kobe 4 Protro 'Black Mamba sneakers have a retail price of $190 in adult sizes. They will not be released in full-family sizing.

Online shoppers can try to purchase the 'Black Mamba' sneakers on the Nike SNKRS website, app, and select retailers.

Unlike previous Nike sneaker releases, we know very little about the quantity of 'Black Mamba' sneakers produced. Vanessa Bryant said the 'Reverse Grinch' release was "3x" greater than any other release. However, she has not given any hints about tomorrow's release.

The 'Black Mamba' sneakers will sell out within seconds online and leave many fans disappointed. Some of our most trusted sneaker platforms include eBay, StockX, GOAT, and KICKS CREW.

In addition to releasing the 'Black Mamba' sneakers, Nike is launching the 'Gift of the Mamba' apparel collection. Online shoppers can purchase a jacket, a hooded sweatshirt, a Los Angeles Lakers jersey, and shirts on the Nike SNKRS platforms.

FanNation Kicks does not have any official numbers to release, but there is anecdotal evidence of many unhappy fans who were unable to buy Kobe Bryant's retro Nike sneakers. Additionally, the "Gift of the Mamba" apparel collection quickly sold out as well.
