SODELPA MP, Niko Nawaikula

SODELPA MP, Niko Nawaikula says the FijiFirst Government is stealing the identity of the indigenous people of Fiji by using the word “Fijian” to equalise all races in Fiji.

While responding to the President’s opening address in parliament, Nawaikula says Fijian is the identity of the ethnic people of this country.

Nawaikula says Fijian comes with its values, customs, and language.

He also questioned the government as to what this new identity gives the people of Fiji.

Nawaikula also claims the government is misleading the people about the status of the economy.
