The long awaited 18 storey Fijian Holdings Limited Tower has been officially opened by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka this morning.

The traditional ceremony was conducted by officials from the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs, staff of Fijian Holdings Limited and the people of Nautauvakarua from Korolevu Village, yavusa Bativudi in the province of Rewa.

Meanwhile, the FHL's head office was relocated from Ra Marama House to the FHL Tower earlier this month.

The new state-of-the-art facility will enhance operational capacity and reflect the company’s long-term growth strategy.

It was earlier highlighted by FHL that the construction of the Tower will cost $40 million.

While opening the new FHL Tower, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says this is a remarkable achievement for Fiji, especially for the iTaukei community.

He says the completion of the project met some challenges due to the COVID-19 outbreak in 2021, however, through hard work and unity, the Tower was completed.

Rabuka says this Tower is not just a building full of glass, but an investment towards uplifting the participation of iTaukei in the growth of the economy.

The opening of the FHL Tower was attended by Members of Parliament, business community, members of the diplomatic corps and stakeholders of FHL.
