The Fiji Institute of Accountants has donated $10,000 towards the Prime Minister’s COVID-19 Fund.

The President of the Institute Nilesh Lal says this pandemic has taught them to do business differently.

Lal says in the wake of COVID-19, they believe that they have a responsibility to answer government’s call to assist those affected by COVID-19 and that is why they have come forward with this donation.

Lal says the donation will assist those directly and indirectly affected by the pandemic.

While receiving the donation, the Minister for Economy Aiyaz-Sayed-Khaiyum says COVID-19 has had an impact globally and has a huge impact on how businesses are operating.
