Former PM appears in Court
The case for former Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase, Kalivati Bakani and Keni Dakuidreketi has been adjourned till next year 28th February.

They appeared in the High Court yesterday.

Qarase is charged with two counts of Abuse of Office while Bakani and Dakuidreketi are charged with four counts of Fraudulent Conversion.

Bakani also faces one count of Abuse of Office.

Qarase is currently serving a one year sentence in relations to the Fijian Holdings Limited case.

According to his lawyer, Tupou Draunidalo, his client will be produced at the Appeals Court tomorrow.
