Thousands of former Fiji citizens abroad will be able to join their family and friends in Fiji at the annual Legend FM Street Party tomorrow night thanks to live streaming.
The event which is being organized by Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of Legend FM will see subscribers overseas being able to see their family and friends online through Fijivillage.com.
Total Event Company Manager Loretta Jackson said this will enable the people around the world to see Fiji as it is the first country in the world to welcome the New Year.
Jackson added that apart from live streaming to thousands overseas, the cameras will be used for the surveillance of the people that will turn up tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, good news for those in planning to head down to the Legend FM Annual Fiji Street Party as all bus services will be running as normal.
LTA this afternoon held a meeting and have decided that all bus services will be running normal even after midnight tomorrow from Suva Bus stand.
This is to ensure that transport is available for members of the public after the annual street party, particularly for those living outside Suva City.
Jackson said the event would not have been a success if not for the support shown by bus companies.
She added many of them such as Nasese Buses, Shore Buses and even Raiwaqa buses have come forward and said they will provide their services until 2am or 3am to ensure people get back home safely as they support such family oriented and alcohol free events.
The Legend FM Annual Fiji Street Party with Digicel will be held tomorrow night at 7pm at Albert Park.
