FNRL trying to secure sponsorship
The Fiji National Rugby League is still trying to secure sponsorship for next year’s Rugby League World Cup.

FNRL General Manager Tomy Finau said their budget to prepare the team for the world cup is around $1.9 million as they will need to get the best players available to wear the Fiji Bati jersey.

Meanwhile, overseas players that have shown interest to join the Fiji Bati next year are Petero Civoniceva, Lote Tuqiri, Jarryd Hayne, Sisa Waqa, John Sutton and Akuila Uate,.
