Labasa has strengthened its squad ahead of the BiC Fiji FACT 2026 by securing the services of Papua New Guinea national representatives Rex Naime and Joseph Joe from Hekari United.
22-year-old Naime featured prominently for Hekari United in the 2025 OFC Champions League, while 23-year-old Joe has earned recognition for his performances in midfield.
Both players bring experience from regional competitions, including the OFC Champions League and OFC Professional League.
They are expected to provide added depth to the Babasiga Lions squad as Labasa prepares to host the tournament at Subrail Park.
Their inclusion is a welcome boost for Labasa as the team looks to make a strong showing in the competition.
Meanwhile, the BiC Fiji FACT pool matches will be played from 19th to 21st June before the action returns for the semi-finals on 27th June and the grand final on 28th June at Subrail Park.
