QVS edges RKS in thrilling U18 Eastern Zone clash 15 - 13
Queen Victoria School successfully defended their home ground after edging Ratu Kadavulevu School 15-13 in a closely contested Under-18 match during the Eastern Zone Secondary School Rugby Union competition at Nukuvuto.

The encounter lived up to expectations as both rugby giants displayed determination, physicality and skill throughout the match, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

QVS and RKS went head-to-head in a tough battle, with both teams showing their capability and commitment as they gave their all in every aspect of the game.

Strong defence, powerful carries, and disciplined set-pieces highlighted the quality of rugby on display.

RKS pushed hard in the closing stages and came within touching distance of victory, but QVS managed to hold firm under pressure and protect their narrow lead.

The win was a testament to QVS’s resilience and composure, while RKS earned praise for their fighting spirit and never-say-die attitude throughout the contest.

Meanwhile, in other results today, RKS Under-14 thrashed Tailevu North College 50-5, while the RKS Under-15 side defeated Saint Vincent College 39-7.

In another closely contested match, Queen Victoria School edged RKS 8-7.
