A 69 year old widow was in tears earlier today when she received a food pack from the Vodafone ATH Foundation.
Kelera Diama a resident at the Valelevu HART said the assistance is timely for Christmas.
Diama said she has been staying in the HART for ten years and her only source of income is the social welfare assistance.
She added that while attending the Christian Mission Fellowship church she is able to get some assistance.
Meanwhile Vodafone ATH Foundation donated 36 food packs worth $1000 to 36 families at the Valelevu HART today.
