Speed ups, false dreams and slow downs were the three words used to describe the three drug groups to students of Nasinu Muslim Primary School this morning.
In an effort to raise drug awareness, the National Substance Abuse Advisory Council conducted an easy to understand presentation to students.
Head Boy Riyazul Razak said they learnt that there are different drugs and that illegal drugs are bad for you and should say no to them.
The National Substance Abuse Advisory Council recently highlighted that while drug and substance abuse cases exist in both rural and urban schools, it is more prevalent in urban based schools.
